As a productive addition to this joke, I should mention that the iDoom has been recently improved. The screen scales properly and they added dithering to the non-color ipods. So it's basically the first playable version.

No sound yet, but really fun to show your friends. I've impressed several people with my l33t hacking skills. While actually it's a very very simple automated install. No "hacking" at all.

I'm assuming you scroll to look left-right, press center to fire, what is movement? Does it override the menu/play/pause/etc buttons?

My 1993 vintage Quadra 610 plays Doom marginally faster than an iPod...but it can't play MP3 audio. :( :rolleyes:

i've seen Doom on iPods before, hence why it wasn't surprising or particularly of any interest to me. i'm glad? that they've improved it, although it seems like a waste.
