My iBook is about 3.5 years old and the original battery would no longer hold a charge. I finally caved in and ordered a new Apple battery. I wanted to stay original with Apple.

What I want to know is how long should it take to get a full charge?

When I received the battery from Apple it had 33% in it. I fully charged it. I completely drained it over night and now it has 3 hours and it's only up 93%. Is this normal?

I did notice that the overall life in incredible though, but I remember it charging much faster. I could be worng though.

Let's hear your charging times and life times.

I don't think my powerbook has ever hit the 3 hour mark so be glad. of course, my G4 Pbook is hungry for power but hey. 3 hours isn't bad.

I think the original response to your post was off-topic. I think what you were asking is if 3 hours to charge up to 93% was normal. It definitely is; I have found my iBook to charge slower than some laptop PC's I've had, but the charge also lasts longer.

Oh yes, especially when he said the following:
