The only time I've read it was for a uni course where we had to analyse its sexuality. I found it a little perverse. Not that perverse is a bad thing, just not quite me scene. :o

I think it's unnecessary to change the title - women don't look at magazines about men's health, and straight men don't look at magazines without half-naked women on them. ;)

The pictures are there so that you can aspire to them. Having a look in my issue, there don't seem to be more half naked men than usual, seems like mostly adverts.

I'm sure a few straight men read such magazines because they promise enhanced sexual prowess with each advertisement. :D

It seems that many of similar magazines promote a lot of photography of similar proportions. :p One might wonder how to inject himself into such a field, iGary.

Oh well, as long as they only have men doing exercises singly, you never have to worry about them changing the name.

Hmm... now that I know that there are half-naked men in this magazine I may just have to start buying it for "the articles." :D

As Tyler Durden said when looking at an ad showing an underwear-clad male model, "Is that what a real man is supposed to look like?"

In australia it's full of half naked woman too, more so than men. Otherwise i really couldn't buy it, what being straight and all. It really is full of lots of useful tips and recipes etc, also its full of useful advice from a female perspective, welll worth my $8 anyway:)

One day soon i'll actually start using all the adviceboth exercise and woman

The wine industry's awareness, let alone understanding, down under of the "pink dollar" is limited to the point of non-existence, in much the same way as it is when it comes to "youth culture". Bizarre and foolish as that may seem... I'm assuming it's different in Cali?

I get all excited every time I get a new one.

"729 ways to make your life better!!!"

I end up only looking at the pictures and spending time in online chat rooms. :D

Ahh, so true. I can't even wear pink ties without people looking at me funny. :(

I used to have a pink (leather!) tie, back in about '87 i think, about the same time as i bought a pair of winkle-pickers..
don't think either would go down too well at my work - i get enough snide remarks about my Doc Martins. Wine's a funny old biz.

You`re gay, right? So what do you have against the title? Is it a complaint or a suggestion?

I think it was intended to be a celebration. ;) :D

Was March the cover of Ian Somerholder? I saw that one in Walgreens a few days ago.
Although they had pretty half naked pics of him, the cover had a box with tips on how to get a hot girl in bed and how to get rid of her quickly.

Kind of reminds me of an episode of Will and Grace where Jack refers to Details magazine as "the magazine for gay men that haven't come out yet". :D

I pick up the odd issue of Details and Cargo. :o Well, it's an easy read!!! lol

I love Men's Health. :) I actually follow some of the advice too.

BTW- iGary, you're giving away our best recruitment secret! Don't you know this is how we lure young, unsuspecting straight boys into our lair of deviance? :D

I'm a moderator over at Men's Health, and some of there content has dipped off as of late mainly due to the fact of expanding, years past, Men's Health catered to the fitness population, wardrobe, relationships, etc, etc, didn't come till much later.. It's still a top notch magazine though..

Who said it wasn't?

I was making a statement, not answering a question.. so that wasn't directed at any one person..

I don't know what it is with you people, but the magazine is called MEN's health. Why should men not be printed in it?

Personally I think Men's Health is a great magazine to read even for women. Now its been awhile, but back when I was a lifeguard at a pool, I worked with a bodybuilder and he always had these magazines. I read them all the time! I can see why some straight men might be turned off if there are tons of hot pics of men but that is how most straight men I know react.
