iBook stopped responding to mouse, keyboard and the screen started flickering randomly, it was bad. Tried plugging into an external monitor... nothing. Finally I just took out the battery...
Could our magic logic board have finally bit the bullet?
It is a hand-me-down, and I believe this machine has gone through a few logic boards in the past.

Its possible which model of the iBook is it? There was a recall on some of dual USB G3 Models due to logic board issues, and it had mostly to do with video.

Thanks. Just got off the phone w/ Apple. It qualifies for the repair program.
The only problem is they want $49.95 for the phone support. No way, Im taking it to the genius bar. :)

By the way, does anybody know what the process/turnaround time is for this sort of thing? Do they wipe the HDD?
