Next time try a spoonful of mustard dissolved in half cup lukewarm water, drink that and you will puke really fast, works better than syrup of ipecac,
in that once you got the stuff out of your stomach you stop puking , not like the syrup which makes you puke till your stomach comes out...
I do this when I have really bad migraines and can't make it to the ER

were you looking at that Sony all-in-one thread? Or the Paris Hilton as Mother Teresa thread?
Both made me nauseated.
Get a good nights rest - hope you feel better in the morning.

I recommend Coke just for the burping factor.

I used to really hate throwing up when I was little, really hated it... terrified me. :(
Now... years later, and after College, Uni and a thousand launch parties... :p

Heh, I did too, but during college...oh vey. I'd be near pass-out falling down drunk and righ before we went into our dorm building I'd be like "hold on guys" - *finger down thoroat* - *RALPH*.
OK, I can go to bed now.

I have a very sensitive gag reflex (yeah, I'm no fun at parties) so all I gotta do is press inwards on the bottom of my throat, just above the collar bone. Works like a charm with out having to stick my finger down my throat. Being a "morning after" puker I've had much oppurtunity to perfect this.

I thought Coke was supposed to actually be beneficial in calming the stomach... as long as it's flat. That's what my mom would tell us when we had upset stomachs. It helped calm my stomach down when I started puking all along the D.C. Beltway on my way home from work last Halloween. Although, maybe it helped because by the time I got home (it was an hour and a half of driving agony!!) and got some everything in the stomach was already providing additional freeway decoration. Can't eat brown daal to this day....
