About veryifying the disk...

I've heard that some responses from disk utility about volume needing minor repair are just mess-ups. How do I know if I fall in this category? It's happened twice in the 3 months since this computer has been turned on for the first time. (I bought it refurb).

Apple claims you can ignore these errors (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107250) when journaling is enabled however I'd always run fsck (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106214) just in case. I never get any of these errors on my two journaled Macs. :)

aaaaaaaalrighty. thanks homeslice. I just don't want this harddrive to fail already. That would be a party pooper.
