What was it? If you're talking about you 'tar thread it was probably because the question is answered in the user guides and a million times in other threads which you could have searched for.

I was just trying to figure out why i couldn't load my avatar.

I was told I had to have 500 posts.

Just trying to figure out how things work here.

True.

I hardly ever use the search.

It was Wastelanded precisely because it asked a question which is answered in the User Guide and there's no need for such threads to clog up the forum.

Another thing about how things work here: If you want to add to a thread you've already posted, you should edit the existing post, rather than adding a new post... unless you're responding to something someone else has said.

Its not my first time on a forum, do you think if i had gone to wasteland anyone would have gone over there to post in it??

Sorry I didn't read the User Guide, I had a question so I asked, that simply....

Why people can't read the rules of a site before posting is beyond me.

Yep - always look through the Guides and the FAQ before posting - that way you'll avoid posting stuff that's been said a million times already.

Or, put another way:

Question answerd, we're done. And next time you have a question involving forum functionality etc, post it in the Site and forum feedback (http://forums.macrumors.com/forumdisplay.php?f=66) section. AFTER reading the FAQ (http://guides.macrumors.com/Help:MacRumors_FAQ) of course.
