i'm going to assume that the displays will update once the Powermacs do.
which may be tuesday... but most likely not

Don't worry, they'll come out with something awesome eventually. There'll be an entire new line of them by the end of the year.

What would they add to the displays? I think HD is already good enough for the time being. I just bought a display and I don't want it to be outdated now!

I agree. If the new Powermacs retain the same design then the design of the displays won't change, just the interface.
If the design doesn't change then that's just fine by me. I love the design, of course I don't have one so maybe if I looked at one every day the design would get old. ;)

New displays will have an iSight built in
I predict.

The fact that the smallest display is 20" already alienates a lot of potential buyers. I don't have any stats, but I'd venture a guess that the 20" is the best selling display by far. I think apple should come out with a 17" widscreen (ala imac)

I agree, there also will probably be some size changes. If the appearance of the Powermac G5 changes at all, I assume the displays will too.
Hopefully in April??

Bleh! Make a 36" with a res of 4xxx by 2xxx and I'll be selling the 30!

I wish the displays were thinner... They're fat... Way too fat...
Like 1/5 the current thickness or something...
Hey, they did it for the MacBook Pro...

I would too, but it'd sure make an interesting predicament for those of us with two displays, or those walls of 30" displays! I'd suppose that you could get it built in for extra, or removed for less.

Maybe a price drop too. The ACD are so expensive. But they do look great.

Let's hope so. Really got my sights set on one when (and if) I can afford it!
