EyeTv 200 has no sound

My eyetv 200 has no sound and i cannot figure out why. I started out with sound, then all of the sudden, i stopped getting sound. I tried throwing the app in the trash and reinstallling, but that did not work. Also, when i reinstalled, it gave me many less channels then I had before.

Whats the audio input?
And the output ?

Well I'm going to jump a few conclusions and guess that you're using cable input and standard computer speakers. I'm also going to assume that the video part of the TV stream works fine and that you're just not getting sound with it.

The beauty/curse of external tuners is that basically, if you just unplug them, reboot, and the reconnect, most troubles are solved. Unfortunately, there isn't a whole long list of things to do after that. Have you tried this yet?

There are still several other possibilities, but always easy things first. Did the sound work originally?
