The following story suggests that Microsoft may be in the middle of a transaction to buy-out Vivendi, owners of Blizzard. If insider speculation is to be believed, an announcement may come as soon as Friday.

This raises concerns that Microsoft may port many fine games to XBox, never releasing them on the Mac. Halo reminds us of this.

If this happens were are definately fusked...

Blizz has been mac supportive, but other areas of Vivendi have not.

I haven't seen a mac half-life or Counter Strike and I'm still waiting for it.

Bah only more bad news.

this would be terrible for the mac community because blizzard is one of the only companys that can make a game play good on a mac. although im so sick of all these blizzard games and could care less, but still not good.

I am almost positive that Vivendi actually sold Blizzard late last year in a sell off of their software divisions. I could be wrong, though. I'll try to dig up that article I read.

Gus

Edit: Well, I can't find the link to that story, so maybe I am dead wrong.-Gus
