Finally my MPB has shipped, and now i am ready to prepare for its arrival. I would like to get a external harddrive for it (only has 80 gig hd). Is there a way to convert my now ATA133 IDE harddrive in my PC into a enclosed case with USB that is compatible with my MBP? trying to save a few bucks after this huge purchase.

Yes, it's extremely easy. Just use Disk Utility to format it to OSX Journaled and away you go... have just done the same thing this week with an Icy Box enclosure.
But get a firewire enclosure, it's faster and will let you boot from the external if necessary.

Yep - very easy.
I have two in firewire enclosures, daisy chained - very handy (and portable if you are careful).
