About 1 minute ago. Nothing major, just shaking and rattling. Anyone else felt it? And know where it might have centered?
Edit: Just talked to family in south shore Montreal: it was not noticed there, so maybe centred southwest of Ottawa?

Yep, I just came back to post that. It was a 4.0 when I first posted the link, but they've revised their assessment.

Government shake-up? :p
Well, at least, it was a minimal quake, though I would imagine that there aren't that many in Ontario although that's not surprising since the New Huntingdon fault is one of the biggest in North America.

So that's what that was!
I was in the Orleans area (near 10th Line at 174) and felt the building start shaking, like a train was going by real close. It couldn't have lasted more than 10-15 seconds. At the time, my friend said there was a big salt truck making a U-turn in the parking lot outside, so we figured that was what caused it, but I was thinking, "man, that's a big salt truck to do that..."
Cool :)

The Ottawa Citizen says that we can expect more (although smaller) tremors over the next few days.
This was the first one that I have felt in Ottawa (in the 8 years that I have been here). I slept through the last one that happened about 2 years ago.
