Neither am I, but this is exactly what (godforbid) the iPod would look like if MS designed the box.

I second that same thought .. and music does sound like it was made on Microsoft app.. Surely not from the True online Music store: ITMS  :p :D

Haha excellent. It's funny 'cause it's true.

I wonder if a graphic designer did it, because while exaggerated there are some good points on it...

Wow, that really hits the nail. Microsoft product boxes DO look like that.

Brilliant. I particularly love the fold down card for the system requirements.
Kinda disappointed that they didn't change the i-pod color to black or dark grey and add a few extra buttons to, y'know, add a little beef to the stark interface. Too simple.;)

It is exactly how MS designs their boxes. All the fluf, no content.

They didn't change the apple at the top of the box (or I missed that part).
I wonder what that would look like

Absolutely, I wondered the same thing. The points on that show what's wrong with bad design in general.

Haha it's funny because Microsoft actually made that video :D

So much for keeping leaks contained.

I saw it on YouTube but there was no way of downloading it because I thought it was so funny yet so true. But it just came up on Google Video with links to download in iPod format.

Google Video version (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=36099539665548298&q=microsoft+ipod)

I thought this video was very well put together. Microsoft can poke fun at themselves all they want. I want to see their version where they take Mac OS X and make it into Vista.

 wow, the image at the start of the movie with the halo over the iPod box is really giving some props to the Apple designers. I guess they're all human and know a great thing when they see it.

Dude, that music is from Danny Elfman's immortal score to Pee-Wee's Big Adventure (I think it's from the part with his elaborate Rube Goldberg breakfast machine). I though it was a really excellent use of that track - especially the way they edited things so as to sync up with bings and bongs in the music. Very well done, indeed.
