There was a report on ifoapplestore a few weeks ago saying that they were expanding the upstairs of Regent St into the offices/classrooms behind the current theatre - and possibly increasing the size of the theatre/genius bar since both are relatively busy

They sure do ... but, more importantly, the bathroom was inaccessible to me on Saturday when I really needed it. :)

somethings happening at SoHo…and i was planning on going there this weekend (random things and maybe what's released on tuesday if it would be in stock there). Is the whole upstairs closed or just the theater. If its the entire upstairs i might have a problem. that's where the genius bar is and everything, so i would doubt they would close it but it looks like it is.

Aside from the theatre, everything is open to the public on the upper level

If anyone needs a renovation to increase size, its the Apple store Grove. That place is always so packed... I don't even go anymore.
