Isn't "stealing" desktops the whole point of this thread??

I'd say its actually pretty pointless to post a desktop that's the same as one already posted. That is, unless you have really cool icons or something:D

When I post pics of my dock it is not a software pissing contest, I have explained this in the past but don't mind doing so again.

By profession I am an Art Director for a design agency that produces web and print advertising, photography, video work for TV spots, and audio for radio commercials. I have been in the business for around 10 years now. I use almost every piece of software in my dock for one purpose or another.

I have older versions of some of the Adobe software because my clients don't always have the latest versions, if I design a file in Illustrator 11 or CS2 and they try to open it in Illustrator 10 or CS sometimes resources get dropped, etc.

I have all the web browsers because when I design web pages I test them on the different browsers to see how they display and load, etc.

Finally I am a software geek and love to mess with software in general, the quickest way to access that software is to put it in the dock. Plus if you have a 30" ACD why not make use of it? Make sense?

No I didnt. I do know they are very hard to get here in the states though, which makes me want to get them more. A friend of mine has a "swedish contact" who charges $20 plus shipping(on top of cost of jeans) and he'll get whatever style in whatever size you want for much less overall than the $250-$350 price tag in NYC. So I am going that route to get some dry bootcut ola's and flare glenns.

Cool, I take it youve seen their site. I live just by that bridge where theyve taken the photos. I had no Idea they were that expensive in the states. Next purchase for me would be the regular ralfs :P

someone recommended mandolux (http://www.mandolux.com) so i had a peek through his site, and he's an amazing photographer. very simplistic scenes, which is similarly what i go for (only he's a lot better than me!!)

I'm not quite sure I understand. There is an option in Finder>View>Show View Options that lets you set the HD/Folder info to the right.

I cant remember what the website i got it from is called, so i just uploaded it to my site. I modified it to be 1680x1050, and put a blurred edge on the right hand side so the icons on the desktop are abit easier to read.

My mom wanted to call me Jason, & my dad wanted to call me Mark.
My mom, being the one being around me the most while i was growing up since my dad was on a lot of cruises in the navy, I went by Jason. My family now calls me Jason, & I go by Mark at school, since it is my first name. EVERYONE but family calls me Jason. Mark is for friends & family & such...it gets kinda confusing...but my name is indeed Mark.

the iTunes skin is changed in its Resources, (show package contents>contents>resources) after that, I downloaded an iTunes skin from here (http://www.resexcellence.com/user_iTunes.shtml) & completely changed the color. I only used the skin to get the grey part to usee as kind of like a template...& I changed EVERYTHING uncluding check marks, highlights (except the main one, to highlight songs, thats hex code...I can't handle that at the moment :D ) I have a better screen shot of what I did here:

I think thats the default start bar from "Windows XP Media Center Edition", not 100% sure though.

The theme is called "Royale", and was released with a Theme Pack by MS in New Zealand. I believe it is also the Media Center theme, as stated by somebody eearlier in the thread.

Ok then, I steal my neigbours internet and about 20 other peoples because they dont know how to close their wireless signal so I am going to wait a couple of months and then offer my services for a certain price so I can still use the internet from their account
(I hope its unlimited because I download at least 20GB a month)

here is my desktop, i found me my own adidas originals sign. & i changed the color to my signature green.
im the only 15 yr old at school who likes bright green+adidas+mac.
think different. aha.

My favorite pair of shoes at the moment are my pair of bright green Adidas Dragons. They make me so happy every time I wear them! I don't even care if they clash with the rest of my clothing.
