I have two 20" iMac Core Duos with 256mb vram option
One has 1GB apple ram asking $1600 shipped SOLD to biohazard6969
one has 2GB OWC ram asking $1700 shipped Can take out 1gb of ram to make it $1600 shipped
I think I'm going to go back to my dual G5 and add a LCD. So I'm going to option a trade for the Dell 2405FPW LCD + $800 bucks for the cheaper one. That means I'm taking the LCD at the current retail of $800 bucks.
EDIT: I ordered the Dell display, so no more display trades.

I'll take one tomorrow morning, of them sitting side by side.

Here is a quick picture of them both. There are lots of reflections from the bright light coming through the windows behind them. Its a testament to how bright the displays are when put up against a bright sunny backlight.
Note the keyboards and mice I'm using are not from the iMacs, those are both in their boxes.

I am just curious, why did you buy two of them? :P

They're just so cool? Whats surprising is that I've gotten interest, but nobody will bump the thread, so thank you. Guess they want to keep the level of interest down by allowing the thread to die.
EDIT: And I've been getting an offer or two for trades for Cinema displays, I'm open to offers, its just that the 23" cinema is an inferior display to the 24" Dell LCD. That and the fact that 23" cinema's are more expensive makes that a bad combo. But as long as this isn't going on http://www.dreamlight.com/insights/bugs/hd23.html then I'd offer $800 for the 23"s too.

You'll never know till you try to sell it. Watch around ebay or look on apple's special deals.
EDIT: Which Imac do you have?
EDIT#2: I realized that the 2gb one is slightly overpriced when the difference is only 1gb of ram.
EDIT#3: Ok read your info. On ebay you could at LEAST get $1000, but one thats set at $1478 doesn't have any bids and it ends soon.

$1,300. Maybe $1,400
I can only get about a grand for my setup. Maybe a bit over with the RAM. Very disappointing to lose $400 in ~3 months. :( It's inevitable but I honestly did not see an iMac update that quickly. It was the second quickest update. The quickest revision update was two months between updates back in autumn 2003. The average is 6 months for the iMacs.

maybe not, since they are about 1400$ new from apple

Hi
Actually they are $1,500 ($1,499) new from Apple. Refurbs go for $1,300 ($1,299). So, I'll adjust my estimate to $1,200-1,300. Apple has my unit (stock RAM) for $1,100 refurbed and eBay seemed to coincide with a $1,000-1,100 for my unit. I paid $1,400 new in Nov. for mine and the 1GB stick (RAM from OWC (http://eshop.macsales.com)).

You know whats amazing is that my machines are current and the lowest config one retails from apple for $1874, but nobody wants mine for $1600.

thanks, I meant sort of "new refurb". I know that isn't new new, but I think refurb from apple is newer than used from a third party. Most refurbs are simply returns, not used items that were broken or non functional, or heavily used for a period of weeks.
All the refurb stuff I have bought from apple, looked almost newer than new. Not a fingerprint, no scratches, etc. They DO put the disclaimer in the there, could be scratched, could be cosmetically damaged, but for the most people there are no signs.
I returned a box to apple opened, but never used. I am sure it was sold a few weeks, months later as a "refurb"
YMMV

Its an interesting though, but I have really gotten accustomed to Dual G5s and Core Duos. But considering how the response is (almost none) anything is possible.

Why that one and not either of mine? His is $1600 without shipping, and mine is $1600 with shipping. Good luck with it though.
I of course would sweeten my deal with cash or the Pb paired with a brand spankin new 30gig Black iPod Video(Scratchless I Promise).
(All boxes, documents, packaging included!!)

Oh man, thats pretty tempting, but my girlfriend would kill me if I took a powerbook and ipod we don't really need. Its like I'm playing Deal or No Deal....

They might not spend too much time on here. PM them. And shipping was reasonable at just $25. If im spending $1600 already, whats another $25? Especially since I get MS Office and Photoshop CS included. PPC programs but still cheaper to pay the $100 for both UB instead of buying both outright.

I can take 1GB out of the other one too, so the second one could be sold for $1600 as well. The first person to buy one in full gets a mini-DVI to DVI adapter for it. $20 value.

Hey I am interested in one with just 1GB cause I already have a 512MB in here in my house. A couple of questions first. Do you have the receipt? Original box? Any dead Pixel? and how much more would you charge me if I want to be ship in 2 days or overnight?

I emailed you back the first time you emailed me that very message. I wouldn't recommend on shipping it 2 days. 3 Day ups doubles the cost and 2 day ups triples the shipping cost.

Oh ok. So how long would it take from seattle to NYC ? so how would the warranty work? lets something happens to it and I want to send it in, doesnt your name come up?

I've never heard of that happening. The way I understand it is that as long as the serial number isn't a year old, they don't have any sort of a problem. But this one isn't in any way registered to my name, and I haven't had any problems. In all likely hood you'll probably never have a problem with it.
EDIT: Ah I don't know how long it will take to get to NY. I did an estimate time thing at ups.com and if I ship it today it will get to a Brooklyn zip code I used next monday.
