...maybe not by much, but they will win
for us bay area sports fans who saw the san francisco 49ers fall in the playoffs, watched baseball's san francisco giants fall in the seventh game of the world series, and watched baseball's oakland A's lose in the playoffs...this sports year will not be known as a trophy year for the california bay area
i am so sure that the bucs will win that i will not watch the whole game...it's just too painful to see a 4th bay area team get so close and just choke
but as a consolation, tampa bay's football coach, who used to coach the raiders, is a very loved personality in northern california and when he gets doused with gatorade and gets hoisted on his teammates shoulders, many a northern californian will at least be happy for this likeable former california coach and football icon
even though gruden moved to florida, he still is on our tv, in commercials, and on the radio as the bay area sports press can't get enough of this man
