Average for ebay is $950-$1195 so my price shipped isnt bad at all. But thanks for stopping by and dropping an opinion on something you dont care to buy and instead just leave your junk in my thread.

When you put feeler in your thread title it means people can give opinions.

Yeah, the refurbished iMac G5's really push the prices down on these models. I'd say $650-750 at most for the G4. My iMac G5 in its stock configuration gets around $900 right now.

i just sold my iMac G4 700Mhz with a broken CD-RW drive for $500, so i think about $900 is fair:)

The iMac G4 with the 17" and at 1.25 GHz is $650-750. It's still a fast and perky machine. You even have Core Image support and USB 2.0.

Nobody on here will pay $1000 for that machine. I highly suggest eBay!

Maybe I should sell my 15" iMac G4 800 Mhz, SuperDrive, 60 GB HD, w/ 768 MB RAM, Apple Pro Speakers, and iSub for more then the $499 I am asking right now on here! I can't believe you got $500 for yours?!? I could probably get $600 for my setup then?!?

$500-600 at most for yours. You've added a bit of value to it.

Considering either mac mini would run circles around this machine, I'd agree with the people in this thread.

Wow.
I'm not sure I've seen such a thread crapped thread.
I hate the marketplace. If you don't have anything helpful to the damn sale, then don't post, jesus! The OP doesn't need all this ******** going on in his thread, it's hurting his sale. If you don't like the price of the sale, well, too bad, don't buy it, leave.
Now, he has to go spend eBay fees and take risks.
It's almost like we need 10 moderators just for the marketplace.
Pathetic.

Like one poster said above this is a feeler, and someone was just being honest. I think the OP took it too personally, when we are just trying to be realistic. I am in the same situation, selling an iMac G4 and am not happy to see how low they are going for now. But $1000 for that iMac may have been realistic a year ago, but since refurbished iMac G5s can be had for less then $899, it is unrealistic to price the iMac G4 so high. Now if the OP through in some extras and software it may be worth it. Either way, good luck with your sale and I don't think anyone here meant anything personally, we were just trying to help you out.

Really! "Feeler" means open for discussion! We are giving the OP our opinions on what is reasonable for that machine. At least he'll know why his machine is not selling here, he has a MUCH better chance of getting close to what he wants for it on eBay.
