No I didn't because I am British. I tried watching it last year, but I found it more borring than watching golf. I suppose I need to have some interest in the teams to enjoy it. Is the SuperBowl popular, what are the viewing figures? As a comparison the Soccer World cup gets 1billion viewers, the European Soccer cup gets 500million and F1 Racing gets 400million (worldwide viewing figures).

Someone needs to tell Ozzy that if doing a live show on MTV wasnt a sell out then the prince of darkness pitching Pepsi sure as hell is. I didnt really think he was going to hell till that commercial last night.

I watched it, but it just wasn't that interesting this year. That is mostly because I normally could care less about those two teams. Put Atlanta there and it would have been a real show.

I watched the game and part of the pre-game show. I was glad to see Warren Sapp, and that great Buc defense prove that they weren't afraid of that Raider offense and weren't nervous about being in their first Super Bowl. Gruden coached them well and it showed. I just love watching defenses dominate the offense like the Bucs did. I would have loved the game more if it was Steelers vs Bucs, but hey I can't complain. The commercials were a blast. I had more laughs than I can remember in recent time. I especially loved the Budwiser commercial with the zebra and the horses............that commercial said it all. I do feel bad for Tim Brown of the Raiders.....he waited so long for his chance. Unfortunately, his team just looked overwhelmed and unprepared......I blame their coach for that.

Oakland offense really was shut down by the bucks, but if there was anyone out there that new about how they operated it was chucky and it showed. Gannon was doing nothing. Its hard to get plays off when you are being thrown down over and over and the bucs line just kept on him!

Watched it all. I enjoyed it, even though i wanted sapp to lose.

Commercials were ok. I can not believe that they repeated them though. absolutely amazing. $2.1 million per 30 sec. and you can't even spend another $20,000 to make two different ones.

As for soccor and F1, football is mainly an american sport. not many europeans are crazy about it. it will never reach soccor's numbers until it is internationally loved. but, in the US, it is one of the biggest shows of the year.

oh- watching soccor is worse than watching golf for me.

Do commercials count?

i watched the SNL halftime special, which was on a different network, so i don't think that counts. had it turned on in the background for a few minutes at one point, so i could turn it up during commercials, but quickly got bored with it.

if you go to the pepsi twist site (http://www.pepsitwist.com/osbournes/index.htm)there is a tab for behind the scense. In episode 2 donny osmond says that he has a 20 GB iPod and Jack has a 40Gb iPod

WHY DON'T I HAVE A 40 GB iPod!!!!!!!!!!!

Guardian Unlimited has a nice article (http://sport.guardian.co.uk/americansports/story/0,10161,880360,00.html) describing what it's all about.

..Wait; that's the same as the pregame show! ;) Still slightly tipsy today though.

Some companies like Nike thought the stakes were too high and so opted out on commercials this year. People's jobs were at stake apparently if they screwed up.

I think some of those people got fired anyway, since some of the commercials really sucked.

Dont flame me but I there is not much emphasis on sports in my life, things like the super bowl are a waste of time and a waste of money. Just my opinion though, if you guys enjoyed it then good for you. I did watch the SNL halftime show and the Golum bit was hilarious.

Put it this way, the top 9 most watched TV of all time are all SuperBowl games. That's why the halftime adas cost 2.2 million, it gets that many viewers (at least here in the US) btw- we could care less about soccer which I think is more boring then watching candles burn.

I watched it after and during the commerical breaks of Independents Day, which was on FOX (great movie), so I guess I watched a little (unlike the Fiesta Bown, which I watched the whole thing, Go Bucks).

I watched the first half, drooled over Shania and didn't come back 'till half way through the 4th quarter.

Do you think Shania was pre-recorded? or just that good?

That's what I thought...I guess I was just too focussed on all the jiggling going on...just waiting for something to fall out...:p

I don't feel much for the NFL. Basketball is more my thing. So, no, I didn't watch the Superbowl. I managed to catch the ads later on though... so I'm happy :D
