My television in my room was an old 1994 10 inch that was showing its age pretty bad. Today, it finally stopped working. My dad figured it was time for a new tv, and said that I can go get a new tv today as my birthday gift (which is in april). I went down to wal-mart and found a 20 inch flat screen tv for $99. My dad told me that I should get a DVD player for it, so they had this 5.1 surround sound/dvd player on sale for $50, which I also got. I immediately went home and set everything up...I have to say that I am EXTREMELY impressed with the quality of the picture/sound, I love it!!! These are the two items I bought if anyone is looking for a cheap surround sound/tv option.
