PB g4 problem

Only a small problem, but an annoying one none the less. My problem is that the volume and brightness shortcut keys in the "F" row have stopped working. I can use the rest of the F buttons, but F1-F5, which are the brightness through the volume have ceased to function in that sense. I was hoping i just did somthing out of ignorance and someone can help me! Thanks.

you never know but..
Maybe give zapping the PRAM (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=2238) a try. :)
you could also get hold of a can of compressed air and try giving the keyboard a cleaning blast.

In System Preferences, under the Keyboard and Mouse settings, do you have Use The F1-F12 Keys To Control Software Features ticked or not? :)
