Mi iPod Shuffle died a few weeks ago.
I went to the Apple Store, one from Mexico (I'm mexican), where they gave me an excellent service. I showed them the warranty and they agreed of changing it for a new one. They told me to wait 5 days, since thay had to make a diagnosis of the problem, or something like that.
Time passed, and finally they called me, saying that I could go for my new iPod. And this is when I got dissapointed. First, they only gave me the iPod alone, withouth the box or anything else (so this made me think this could be a used iPod) but it worked, so I agreed to accept it. Second, they told me that the warranty wouldn't be extend another year. And I didn't buy Applecare for the iPod, so I only have like 4 months remaining.
Does inthe USA is the same? Or is it only a problem here in Mexico?
