someone already pied an Apple co-founder, just not steve jobs. *he* had a sense of humor about it, unlike gates who probably has an anti-pie deflecting shield surrounding him now.

Go look again, it was definitely Woz. Woz himself then sent the pic to Gates after the pie incident, but gates didn't respond...

I think all this pieing stuff is great. I'm sure it's all in good fun. Bill Gates really is a multifaceted character... on one hand, he's the ruthless monopolist who deserves all the pies in the face anyone throws at him, and on the other hand, he's one of the most generous benefactors in history, giving billions to highly deserving causes like AIDS and hunger relief. If he's the devil, the devil must not be that bad of a fellow... but everyone could use a pie in the face.

I think what I'm going to do is, on Feb 5th, I'm going to send the "PIE" link to different M$ on-line support e-mails and fanboy sites......Would that be considered SPAMMING? :P

You bash Bill Gates, but in a recent news article (chinese translation of a recent news article), Gates actually has donated a total of over 20 billion dollars to various charity organizations. Also, you want the downfall of Microsoft, but without M$, Apple wouldn't be pushing so hard to innovate and "Think Different". Sure, they'll come out with top-notch products but I don't think they'd bother to come out with things that totally set themselves apart from the pack.
