Just wanted let everyone know that I missed my reserve price by $45 and was hoping someone would be seriously interested in purchasing this system (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=183685) in the next couple days. I really need the cash, especially since I just ordered my 1.83 Ghz MBP today (I might need to cancel if this doesn't sell soon). Anyone want to get an awesome deal on this, I am now asking for just $450 + shipping. This system includes the Apple Pro Speakers and iSub at no additional cost and comes with 768 MB RAM, Stock Superdrive, Stock 60 GB HD, and a bunch of software (legit) mentioned in my previous threads.

Thanks for your interest again. And if you need any assurance, just talk to amacgenius, moviecutter, and Spanky Deluxe (all who I have made deals with in the past month).

Where's doucy when I need him? :( :p

Sounds like a pretty damn good deal. Too bad I already have a 1Ghz 17" with Creature IIs. I love the G4 iMacs

I think there was just the same model iMac sold on here by Backtothemac, you should check and see what he got for his system.

I bought it for $400 shipped. The only issue with it was one dead FireWire port. It also has an 80 GB hard drive. I thought they only went up to 60 GB on the first 800 MHz model.

They did, he must have replaced it. Mine includes the Apple Pro Speakers and iSub too. All the ports work fine and there have been no issues with the iMac for a few years now.

This is a nice deal.
I sold an 800MHz iMac G4 (15") with only 512MB and only a Combo drive (no iSub either) for $525 near 6 months ago.

Good luck,

Oh and 768 MB of RAM. Otherwise the iSub and Apple Pro Speakers are REALLY nice on your iMac. I have a pair at work using an iFire as an extension cord. It's a MDD too. I just don't have any other way to extend the cord. :p

I believe this one had Pro Speakers as well.

Anyways, interested in any trades?

Not at the moment, but may be getting one soon. Looking for anything else (esp. an external 120GB network attached storage drive, new GSM multimedia phone, pretty much anything else you can think of??)

You're tempting me again man, as if the iPod wasn't enough - do you have a firm asking price for this or is it just offers?

$450 + shipping is the asking price. For you I may go down to $435, but ONLY for you (this man bought my 40 GB iPod Photo for $250), as it is I am coming up short on the expected absolute lowest I could afford to take. I could ship the iPod with the iMac if you want? We can talk more through PMs.

Thanks to everyone for their interest and keeping this thread alive. :)

This guy's great!! I bought his iSight off him last week, I paid on the weekend, he shipped it out on Monday and it arrived in Nottingham, UK early Friday morning. A great seller and a really nice person to boot.

Griffin used to sell an Apple Pro Speaker extension cord. You might be able to find it as old stock in some store such as Micro Center.
