I know this is completely the wrong time of year, but me and my little sister found some sparklers and decided to use them. Here are the results ( she is only 12 and this was her first time with a dslr).

amazing pictures macmadhatter,

what camera settings did you use for the fireworks pictures? (F stop, exposure,iso etc?) they came out really well.

Here is some of the data from the exif information
(it was the same settings for all of them)

Exposure Time 8.0s
F number 22
ISO 400
Exposure Prg Shutter Priority
Exposure Bias -0.3
Metering Mode Pattern
Flash Flash Fired
Lens Focal lngth 25mm

They were taken on a Canon EOS 350D with the standard 18-55mm lens
