Macworld (via Playlist) has an article up on iPod hacks...

One of the hacks is a way to double a nano's memory by opening it up and soldering in an extra memory module (itself taken from a second, dead nano). The origin for the hack can be seen here:

Has anyone done this? I'd never chance it, but it amazes me that someone would. More power to you if you pull it off.

Interesting to note that there is an empty socket in the 4Gb for an extra RAM module. Seems the current nano has already been engineered for higher capacity, anytime Apple's costs, margins, and price structure allow it.
