iLife 05 to iLife 06 installation help

hey guys I know there is probably tons of threads on this already but i just opened my brothers laptop, and iLife 05 is on it. It came with the iLife 06 discs and I am going to install them. My question is: Do I need to delete all the 05 programs first? or will it automatically over write them? What should i do?

It is worthwhile - if you have the disk space to create a backup of your iPhoto Library just in case the upgrade has a problem. Much easier than having to reimport them all later.
