I know I can reformat an iPod from windows to mac... but could I restore an iPod to download music from a windows PC?

That's what you were asking right?

Yeah, I just heard you can't. But i dont see why you couldnt put the ipod into the PC, restore and update it....

I switched only a month ago from windows to os x and i didn't do any reformating of my ipod...or at least none that i noticed...
