On my macbook pro, the game windows doesnt strech out fully. The sides of the screen are black, is there any way to force with to run at the mbp resolution?

I dont think so becasue the MBP is wide screen and I believe starcraft wont run at wide screen reolutions.

there's black borders? it's great!
having it stretched and distorted makes it less playable. i would suggest keeping it that way.

Trust me, you dont wanna stretch a 640x480 image to 1440x900.
Its like having MPEG-1 video at 320x240 stretched to 1600x1200. In other words, really nasty looking.

Thats why I love my 19" CRT.
I run it at 1920x1440, but when its time to play Starcraft, it goes into 640x480.

Yep. Unless you only play games from the last few years that are fully resolution-independent, a CRT is pretty much the only way to go for gaming.

It varies from game to game. I'm not sure about SC, but in the Medal of Honor games, it's cmd-h.

If that doesn't work, try CMD+M. That is the command used by WoW so maybe it will work.
