I'm not in the market for a new iMac. I am perfectly happy with the one that I have right now.

no I'm still quite happy with my current 800mhz iMac and hope to be so for a few years, a new 12" laptop though is another question....

Nope. My pmac quicksilver is working just dandy!
Could go for a Cinema display tho, if somebody wanted to donate the money.

I'm not, but I have a friend who will Switch as soon as they get updated. Every day she comes in and asks, "Any rumors??"
At least now I've got a seemingly firm date to tell her...

It has been a roller coaster of emotion watching rumored dates for updates come and go. With a 333mhz iMac on its last legs, I am definitely ready to purchase once upgrades and, hopefully, price drops are in place.

Hoping for a 17"/Superdrive model for around £1400 please :) (£1650 currently)
GeForce4 Ti graphics would be nice (the 4200 Go would probably be as good as you could get into an iMac), but since it's not going to be a gaming machine it's not essential.
At any rate, I'll be buying an iMac of some description. Which one just depends on how Apple price them & kit them out...

Nope, I am content with my current PC. I am saving up the limited
money I am getting right now for the 970 mac. Still not sure how
I am going to be able to afford a monitor. ;)

well, after years of sticking it out with my B&W G3/450, I just recently started checking out rumor sites like this one and was all excited about upgrading to a new top of the line imac.......then Apple went and upgraded the pmacs this past week and dropped the prices to the level that I could afford a decently configured one (new dual 1.25/512MB/120G HD/SD/AE/BT/Radeon 9000 - educational discount) so I decided to get one and live off of my old graphite 17" Apple CRT Studio Monitor for a few months until I can get at least the Apple 17" LCD or hopefully the new 20.1".
After looking at the new pmac line - especially the low end model - I simply realized that there was no way that the performance to value of the new high imac would eclipse that low end pmac model and it made more sense to spend a little more for a more customizable and upgadeble system. Hopefully this lasts me for a few years. And hopefully these new models are alot quieter than the last ones.
