I have the G4 ibook
I wanted to know if i can burn double layer DVD's in my ibook
Also how is the quality og double layer DVDs

i think even the latest iBook (http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/ibook/stats/ibook_g4_1.42_14.html) only has a single-layer superdrive. The new MacBook Pro does too as far as i can see, tho dual write may be available as an upgrade.

No the macbook pro does not have a dual layer.

You'll need an external dvd burner with a DL to burn one but that's what I did and my LaCie works just fine fine burning DL dvds :)
