only 1024x768 in Q3 Intel?

Has anyone figured out how to get more than 1024x768 on a 20" iMac Intel?

This resolution is killing me.

Have you tried manually editing the config file? I don't have an Intel Mac so I can't test it.

The config file should be in Library> Application Support > Quake3 > BaseQ3
go through the config file and change the following values:

seta r_customheight "1050" (set to the height of the resolution you want)
seta r_customwidth "1680" (set to the width of the resolution you want)
seta r_mode "-1" (set this to -1 to get the custom resolution)
