Great! Maybe mine will ship by the end of the week (Ordered 3/3, see sig). :rolleyes:

They better ship soon. If I can order one now and have it shipped by wednesday at the latest, then mine better ship by friday. Otherwise Ill just cancel and reorder.

If anyone orders one now please post your est. shipping time. I am wondering if it would be earlier than mine.

Probably because your in Austrailia. They'll ship it to Alaska, then Cupertino and then back across the world to you.

Have you called Apple to ask what the heck is going on?? It seems like everyone that has ordered between 3/4-3/8 has shipped or is getting ready to :confused:

I ordered 3/2 and STILL waiting...they haven't even charged my CC yet...:(

I ordered mine 3/19, and the estimated ship date is 4/3 (from Apple). How can you tell whether the machine has been built or is in progress, etc? I've never used Apple before (yep I'm a switcher) so I was also wondering if could track it on Fed Ex's site, too.

I can't cancel anyway, because it's a BTO. I did it over the phone, and the guy never told me about how to go about cancelling.

Ive nevered ordered over the phone so Im not sure. If you have an order number you should still be able to check its status online.

OMG...FINALLY I cannot cancel mine either...I was really getting angry with Apple these last few days with all the others shipping, but not mine!

Hopefully they get it out before the weekend...would love to get it before my b-day (3/30) :)

Since Apple didn't list my school on the website, I went to the MAC store (their spelling, not mine, I know its not in all caps) and got mine BTO. they said I could pick it up in 5 days to a week, which looks to be better than the online ship times.

Now the Canadian and US stores are listing 1-2 business days to ship (which is down from 1-3 yesterday). Things seem to be clearing up nicely (especially since 3-4 weeks ago, it was listed as 3-4 weeks...ordering then wouldn't have gotten it here much quicker). That said, I'll probably wait until April since it's just a week away (I doubt they will release something I want more...but you never know.)

Um, yes...I'm sure you do. FedEx has made me sign for EVERYTHING including my memory card reader from Apple...they wouldn't deliver it until I was home :(

But if you miss your delivery, you can typically call FedEx and go pick it up that night at their local main facility. This is easy with FedEx Express, they won't always do it with FedEx Ground.

I got the day off! I am SO excited now. An entire day to play with laptop. And another win for honesty being the policy. I didnt make any excuse up. I just told my manager my laptop was coming and needed to be signed for. She then worked out the schedule so I had the day off. Ill never say another bad thing about her again. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

wooohooo. my wife just called to say that she went past the apple shop and my MBP has finally arrived. But her's has not, she's very jealous! hehe.

Apparently they got only FOUR in.. their first shipment in.. and mine was the fourth! wow..

I ordered from them on Feb 6th.. it's been a while!

heading into her work to grab my MBP!! (oh and pick up my wife)

Mine is out for delivery! A day early! Only 2 business days, not bad at all. Mine skipped Alaska and went from China to Indiana. And being that I am in Ohio didnt take long to get here. I have to leave for work in 10 min though which sucks.

I had just about had enough of waiting for my MBP, so I started thinking (and this doesn't happen often) :rolleyes:

According to FedEx's website my MBP arrived in San Antonio this evening (early evening) and was scheduled to be shipped tomorrow morning. I didn't want to wait until then so I called FedEx and proceeded to explain to them how it was in their best interest and would only save them time and gas if they let me come and pick it up tonight, lol. So in a rare move with FedEx, they called the warehouse that is at the airport and one of the guys there agreed to look for it.

So I went over to the warehouse when I got off work and the guy was digging through those big cargo containers that come off the planes, and he found my MBP for me! This is awesome, typing on it now and its amazing!

THANKS FEDEX!!! :D
