Stupid question, at my local store they sell a linksys adapter to get the gamecube online. Can the gamecube even play games online:confused:

Stupid question, at my local store they sell a linksys adapter to get the gamecube online. Can the gamecube even play games online:confused: Phantasy Star Online can, but that's it. However, there are some games that do LAN, and there's a big community of people on XaiLink Kai who you can play against

There's 3 games that support LAN (Mario Kart, Kirby's Air Ride, and something else- they can be tunnelled with a program called XLink Kai and played online) and two that support online play (Phantasy Star Online and something else).

Xlink is brilliant. I've used it a little on my Cube and a bit on Halo 2 on the xbox.
