can i password a external harddrive.i don't want my girlfriend to go through my files(porn:D).and if so how.

good question ! i would just take out the power lead and hide it
got to protect that porn:D

create a password protected disk image, & put your files in that.

Well the one way I can think about...
Put a Disk Image on it (use the Disk Utility application) and put a password on it, but don't store the password in the keychain, so it's asked everything. That way you can still have the drive connected, just remember to un-mount the image, and you can still have normal files on the drive.
