1. The average user isn't sitting around waiting for Vista to come out. If they end up buying a new computer after Vista is released, they will get Vista.

2. Someone else has already said this, but if you have a commercial advertising how secure OSX is, this will be seen as an invitation to try and prove them wrong.

Maybe bringing back the switcher ads isn't a bad idea, because people still have the stigma where you can't do anything on a mac.
