Quick question - did any of the 2D worms games ever get released on the Mac? If so does anyone have a copy for sale? :D

Yes they did, I have a copy here, however I don't really want to go through the hassle of shipping game worth nothing... especially b/c I am in NZ. Shipping would cost heaps.
Just download it ya rogue.

Worms is like Lemmings Prince of Persia and Tetris.
Ported to every format that ever existed.

Yeah I don't seem to be able to find a record of anything before 3 D though

Almost certain Worms was ported to Mac OS.
Probably be classic though.
Just get an Amiga emulator and your away.

I recently bought Worms for my cell phone... don't make THAT mistake. :)
The only Worms games ported to the Mac were the original (for Classic I beleive, as it was released in 94), Worms Blast (released in 2002) and Worms 3D (released in 2003.)

hah, don't ever download mobile phone games! I've done graphics for a few and got the game for free. ouch. because I don't get paid royalties or anything I recommend you don't buy 99% of phone games!
Cant believe Square Enix were talking about good they were too. Was it them? well some people said they wanted to make phone games.
