This article is actually kind of stupid. The operate under the pretense that jobs is running the show at Apple, as tho he is the only one authorized to make a decision, and without him, apple will be in shambles. Jobs has a competent team of not only designers and developers, but also a determined financial team who knows what is up. Sure, jobs may have the voice that can Exalt or EOL a product, bute he's not making every decision. Jobs is more interested in delivering keynote speeches and generating hype, and he'll be doing that for years to come.

Every Mac sold since 1997 has a cyanide capsule hidden in the casing for just such an eventuality.

Jobs is much bigger than any of the designers or developers or anyone else with Apple. He is the reason for their succes!
I'd be worried if Steve retired tomorrow.

It's true that he has constantly thought alternatively and used the novelty of his ideas to slide Apple into success. A Steve Jobs is not born every day.

Agree with you guys-- what sort of reasonable Apple news forum would print anything that contained---
"There's definitely kind of a tragedy in the brewing here," says Roger Kay, analyst and president of Endpoint Technologies Associates, a consulting firm.
Neither news, nor sensible.
