It seems with the new advent of Windows on Mac this product could finally be suited to sell on this forum.

This is a Windows XP Home Edition disc, Service Pack 1. The computer it was on has been dismantled. Comes with XP disc, original "folder" packaging, and original booklets (no manual, etc., included).

These go for around $50 on eBay, but I geuss we'll see what I can get on here. I've sold on MacRumors before and have a little eBay cred (greenvilletradingco). Prefer PayPal.

Pics will be added later...

No offense, but this cannot be used with the Windows on Mac project.

Windows XP Home will not run correctly, only Professional and Media Center Edition will, since they are based on the Pro code, not the home code. XP Home only supports 1 CPU anyway, and if I remember correctly it will not install on machines containing more than one processor.

MS's official stance is that 1 'processor' equals 1 'socket'. So dual-core processors will run just fine on Home. They have said that when quad-core processors are out, they will count as '1 processor' to their licensing. (That's why Pro will run on a dual dual-core Xeon system that appears as 8 processors because of HyperThreading, even though Pro is limited to 2 sockets.)

But it's true that as yet, Home won't run on the Mac.
