iPod some of the songs in file library.xml were not imported

some of the songs in file "library.xml" were not imported because they could not be found.

I reformatted my computer so i ended up saving my old library. When i tried to iimport the old library it didnt add a single song and this message came up. Is there a way you can get around this?
