Company is buying me a new laptop so I don't need this one anymore. It is fully maxxed out with the following specs:

-1.67 Ghz G4
-Dual Layer 8x Superdrive
-Firewire 800
-1440x960 resolution
-2GB RAM
-120GB Hard Drive
-128MB Radeon 9700 Dual Link (can drive 30" Display)
-Bluetooth and Airport Extreme

Extras include:
-Final Cut Studio (Final Cut Pro 5.0, Motion 2.0, DVD Studio Pro 4.0, and Soundtrack Pro)
-Kensington Bluetooth mobile mouse
-Microsoft Office 2004 Standard (original box and disc included, NOT just a copy on the hard drive)
-iWork 05 (Original disc included)

Comes with all original packaging, accessories (Power adapter, battery, etc.)

It's in great condition considering it was used pretty heavily in the field as an editing machine. It has a small dent on each of the front corners, but other than that, the shell has no scratches or scuffs. I was purchased in October 2005, and still has warranty until October 2006 and is applicable for AppleCare. This is a great machine, it runs Final Cut, Photoshop, Motion, and other programs beautifully, feel free to email me with questions at moviecutter (atnospam) mac (dot) com. Thanks!

I'm the high bidder :) - been looking for one of these forever, doubt I'll win, cuz I don't have a $hi*load of money, but I bid my max, so let's cross my fingers and hope.

Long shot but what about my iMac (link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8790769074)) + like $300 cash.

(Best I can do atm. :()

How much cash would you be looking for then (shipped)?

Well I knew it wouldn't be cheap - just less than $1600 I guess.

$1700 shipped for all that is an awesome deal. However, I have office and a BT mouse, and don't need FCS or iWork. So what would your asking price be with all those extras taken out?

If it doesnt sell here, you can always send the other guy that was bidding a Second Chance offer.

I was actually hoping for around $1700 without the extras, but I seem to be having a problem moving it for more than $1600.

Oh... I figured since your auction ended at $1685 with the extras, and there are no ebay fees here (and you can get back the fees you already paid), you might come down a bit?

and btw, am I missing something? Isn't that software worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars?

Well, Apple is selling refurbed stock configs for $1600, so with the 40GB extra HD and 1.5GB extra RAM, I see the buyer backing out as more of a good thing than a bad seeing as I was hoping to get more for it anyway. Make an offer...I have a buddy of mine who may buy just the 'book for $1500, but he's not sure yet.
