Airport Express Base Sation stopped working :-(

hello !

i bought an airport express station in February last year (so it's just over a year old) and today, it stopped working.

the green/orange led is dark

i was happily listening to music through it when it all went silent, came to the computer thinkiing it might have gone to sleep, but nope, checked the base station and saw it all dark…

i was wondering if anyone has had similar problem and know what it could be due to…

obviously Apple does not want to do anything because it's over it's one year warranty period… by not even 2 months…

otherwise i was very happy with it…
I must say i get a bit tired to get rogue mac products (my first Ibook went dead after 1.5 years -did not have apple care for it-, my second Ibook stopped working after 2 months -that one they gracioulsy fixed!)

The same thing happened to me. The light just went off and now it doesn't turn on at all.

No idea what's wrong with it, but believe me, I was pretty pissed off too!

well, it took
- 2 phone calls to apple "NO"
- 1 trip to my local Apple Centre "NO"
- another 30 minutes call to Apple (to premium number from my mobile, nice one) to talk to them about what they call the 13 months malediction (made them laugh) in France to get a "Custommer Satisfaction number" (sic)
- another trip to my local Apple Centre

the new airport express should arrive in 1-2 weeks.

Hmm... I wonder it there's some weakness in the expresses that make them break down after about a year... :(

yeah they must be a weakness, but so far Apple won't recognise it…

we just all have to insist i guess…
