I'm trying to reformat a 40gig windows drive on my powerbook. I put it in my USB enclosure, but unfortunately, the drive doesn't show up on my powerbook at all when I plug it in (and turn it on).
Any tips on how to make the computer see it?

If it does not show up on the desktop, then it should show up in the Disk Utility.
From there, you can partition and format it.

Nope, doesn't show up in disk utility either. Any way to "point" the program toward the disc?

Figured it out. Drive was jumpered as a slave.
