Hello

I'm thinking of selling my 1GHz Titanium PowerBook. It was the highend model at the time of purchase. 60GB HD, 1GB RAM, 64MB VRAM, Airport Card, SuperDrive, etc. I'm going to sell this if it's worth it for me. I've owned this since November 2002, and have babied it ever since.

Photos can be found; here (http://web.mac.com/rickvanr/iWeb/PowerBook/Welcome.html)

I won't be selling it for a little bit, probably a couple weeks at the earliest. Right now I'm just looking for interest, and a possible dollar figure.

My guess would be you could get around $900-1000. I think the airport card pushes it up toward $1000 since those things are easily $100 by themselves. The battery life is good on it too. Did you get a new battery at some point or did you just rarely use it without the power cord? If you have boxes/manuals that adds some value as well.

EDIT: Theres one on ebay right now going for about $800 shipped with a 40Gb HDD and a combo drive and doesn't seem to be in quite as good shape as yours. So i think mine was a good guess.

I sold that exact powerbook a few months ago for $940 shipped...and it also was bought in November '02.

Wow. That's a lot of cash for such an old machine. But i guess there's a strong market for them. I wouldn't mind one myself, but I just can't justify the cost, unless you're interested in trading for a 12" PowerBook.

Heh, and I only got $850 for it *sigh*.

I hardly used the battery. I still have all the manuals and everything that came with it. Original packaging too.

As for trades, probably not.
