I have a Netgear WG111T USB2 WiFi adaptor, which I want to use on my mac mini with Tiger.
I plug it in, and although it comes up in the system profiler, it doesn't seem to show up in the network preferences, and the light on it doesn't light up either.
How can I use this adaptor?
Thanks

If you are on a Mac I don't think that dongle will work with your machine.
From the Netgear Website:
System Requirements:
· Pentium class PC
· Available USB port
· Windows® 2000 or XP
· 2 Mbytes of free hard drive space
They don't say anything about Mac compatibility.

This seems to indicate that there is a solution:

I am just about to try it.

Has any of you been able to get this USB WIFI adaptor to work yet? I am having the same problem. The driver that I downloaded from Netgear is not working.

Might require an Atheros USB chipset hack ... since there are other USB2 devices likely running the same chip.
It might require using one of their drivers, and possible changing the name in the driver.

Don't know all I found was http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/29964 for the chip purchased by Atheros and possible rebranded as the one in that device. which became http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/21816
