iPod iPod reformat from Windows.

I need to reformat a Mini. My friend accidentally formatted as a hard drive using Windows.

How shall I make it an iPod again? My iPod update isn't seeing the 'Pod. I'm guessing something in Disk Utility?

With my 3G, all I had to do was download the iPod update from the apple site and then ran it (without iTunes open or anything). What once was a poor Windows iPod is now a newly updated Mac iPod. Hope that helps.
