I'm pretty excited about tomorrow, eventhough most likeley and unfortunately nothing exciting will go down. I really hope tomorrow is a good day for Apple but I just dont know. There hasnt been any talk about it or anything. Would apple even think about doing anything without a special announcement planned or something. Any ideas if apple will possibly announce any new products or perhaps give something away on their website?!?!?!?!

Post your comments, predictions, thoughts, or just plain vent about the 30th anniversary.

I keep hearing that there is a press event tomorrow then I hear there isn't.
Clarification, anyone?

I'm really hoping for something new. New products always make me happy.
I'm really doubting a fullscreen touchscreen iPod, but that would be awesome. Though Apple DID buy a bunch of touchscreen displays?

A more likely choice would be Intel iBooks for the education buying season.
Maybe an iPod shuffle update? Though there's really nothing on the iPod to make better. (Besides a screen, though a small cheap LCD screen on the iPod shuffle would be very unelegant and thus very un-Apple-like.)

Maybe a whole new product altogether that will have the PC fanboys more jealous than ever!

Edit: Wow, my post was so stupid and nonsensical... oh well. I'm tired, sue me.

Nothing is going to happen. There.

No invitations, no anything, no word from apple nothing. Besides, who holds a press conference on a Saturday?

Potential for a quicktime link to a pre-recorded conference-type thing (with no actual live audience) with Jobs chuckling about how Apple fooled everyone into thinking there's no event :D

"Apple's 30th, boom. iMacBook. This too scrolls like bu..uhh, scrolls like a knife through butter.":p

I've said this before and I will say it again... I do expect something to happen! I mean, would Apple really let this great day pass without announcing anything? Even if it's just a Bluetooth Mighty Mouse... I'd be satisfied. :p

It's time over here. Happy birthday, Apple!

Happy birthday, Apple! Thank you for enriching my life so much. I'm extremely happy I grew up with Macs. I'm ready to help fill Apple's bank account this year again. Bring 'em all on, the goodies!

So, once again...

Happy birthday, Apple!

Apple, to screw with us all! :D

But seriously, I like the idea of a pre-recorded event link on Apple's site. I'll be eagerly waiting tomorrow morning, refreshing the Apple Store every ten seconds  :p

Happy 30th Birthday, Apple! :D I am so glad I made the switch to the Mac! Keep the excellent products coming!

And it's only about 9:30 PM in California right now... 12:34 AM here on the east coast. Patience, my friend. :)
