I believe it is AGP 8X but not sure if it has the pro connector or not...

Probably not worth upgrading from a 9800 Pro.... unless you could sell it for about the same ammount of money.

But, I have a few questions to ask:

1) How fast is this card? What kind of games have you used it for and how was the performance (do you have Doom III?)? Links to some benchmarks would be nice if you know of any. :)

2) Is this card faster than the Radeon 9800 Pro SE w/ 256MB DDR? I would assume that it is, but curious.

3) Do you think that I will notice an improvement in performance over my 128MB Radeon 9600?

The ATI Radeon 9800XT definitely would cream my Radeon 9600. :eek: :)

Anything below a 9800, this would kick its a$$.

If you have any 9800 series (128/156/SE etc) its not gonna be a big enough bump.

That does seem to be the case after reviewing the benchmarks cairo provided.
