I need a simple paint app...

I need a simple paint application. Something like MS Paint. Really simple, nothing too fancy. Only odd requirement is that it can open large pictures. Other than that, something like the el' cheapo' paint app MS Paint is fine. Anyone know where I can find one (preferably for free)?

Appleworks has a nice paint App, although it's not free. :)

Now, I know you said simple, and if you mean that in the extreme, you might want to check this out: http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=16766&db=mac

I am not sure whether of not it can't open large files because I haven't had enough time to play around with it yet.

If you don't like that one, a search for "paint" at www.versiontracker.com will come up with some results.

Yep, get Appleworks-- sure it costs money, but you get not only a nice paint app, but a drawing app (like paint but with objects), database, spreadsheet, and a very nice text editor. i use AW all the time...

best feature is, it seems to be able to open any file format i throw at it... has built-in PC translation...
