So I am upgrading my Harddrive, what do you think of these harddrives from newegg?
One is a higher priced Seagate, but the western digital and Samsung are within my price rage.
My ibook model is the 12in ibook and is the 1 Ghz (1.07 to be exact).
Any help is appreciated!
edit: And you know, is a pc2100 the type of ram I need?
what do you think of these ram upgrades from newegg:

Any of thoes Hard drives are a good choice.
With Seagate you get a MUCH better Warranty. 5 years is A great deal for a notebook thats gonna get bumped around a while. Had a friend get his seagate HD replaced NO Questions asked. Pretty easy to deal with.
Also an option to drop to 100 GB But get a 7200 RPM for similar price.
As for RAM DO NOT Buy from NewEgg. You'll wind up with something that is cheap but wont work with your mac. Kingston Ram isnt always compatible unless its specified and Newegg will charge you a restocking fee if you have to return it.
You can use PC2700 DDR 333 in your PB 1Ghz 12" instead of PC 2100.
The PC2700 will work fine in your system and is more available & cheaper. If you want something that will work with your mac get it from one of these vendors:
each link will take you to a coresponding Purchase page for the RAM you would need for your system.
Best overall pricing and quality: 1 GB PC2700 for $108.90 they are my first choice :D
good quality ram @ a Good price they still sell 1GB PC2100 RAM for $114.99
can also get 1 GB PC2700 for 129.99 from them here (http://eshop.macsales.com/item/TechWorks/126080009/) :)
Highest quality RAM, but youll pay a premium for it. 1 GB = $193.99

I agree with gman71882, a 5-year warranty for any hard drive, much less a notebook drive, is outstanding.
I've had nothing but excellent performance from my Seagate drives.
